Bounce House

This week's track is too much fun. The title "Bounce House" is very fitting. Everything about this song is upbeat. Once the beat comes in you'll be happily bobbing your head, I guarantee it. A fun '80s style bass combines with a perfect cowbell line. Add to that some strings, a bouncy beat, and an organ solo, and it doesn't get any better. Listen to this when you're in a bad mood and it should pick you right up. Enjoy!

Killin' It

This week's track is really cool. It's about five and a half minutes long, but completely worth it. The track starts out with a nice new-school disco build that culminates in a blazing electric guitar solo. And then the track really takes off. The bass that comes in at about 3:20 is so dirty and bassy and funky it's ridiculous. Best bassline featured on this website to date, some might say. Interesting fact about this song: actual beer bottles and pint glasses were used as instruments. Enjoy!

Falls in Sequence

This week's track starts out with a bubbling synth and string combination. The beat comes in half-time along with an octave based piano melody. This intro builds a lot of space and has a kind of calming effect. This is in complete contrast to the beat drop that is to come. The main synth and bass hook of the song is complex yet catchy, while remaining impossible to replicate. The next breakdown features a building piano and a panned solo bass-type instrument. This one's crazy fun. Enjoy!

Don't Underestimate

This is crazy funky! Very electro too. The intro keeps it funky and oldschool with quick jumpy bass and spacey sound effects. When the second part of the song comes in it's regal and uplifting, making use of horns and a steady bass line. This is almost a double song, with each part being so different. But the transition ties the parts together so that they remain cohesive. As a bonus this song is full of cool reverb effects and crazy space noises. Enjoy!

This one starts out with some echo-ey synth and some insisting bass. The driving kick, bass, and synth combination eventually escalates until the real drop comes. The true bass synth that comes in is wide and loud. This song is robotic all the way and pulses with energy throughout. It's got some great swelling builds in it too. Enjoy!

Build Rebuild

This is a fun song that uses very little reverb on the synths, making them precise and cutting. The track is robotic and bouncy. It also features clever toms and pitch bent lead synth lines. Enjoy!

Orange Light

This one is true electro/house. The track has a build and a drop that just make you want to move. Prominently featured are classic electro slap bass and a quick and incessant repeating synth line. Less prominent, but of equal importance, is the Rhodes piano that lays down the background and foundation for the song to be built upon. Enjoy!

Second Line

This track starts out bassy and under the radar. It has a great chord progression and a fitting bassline. The bass after the beat drop in this one is pretty intense. It's constant, swelling, and mind-numbing. Memorable string lines add a melody that cuts through the bass. Some delayed synth parts later in the song are somewhat daft-punk-esque. Enjoy!

This track's lulling intro and build don't give away the crunchy bass that's to come. Swelling organ eventually gives way to dirty and compressed synth bass. A synth line harmonized with the bass gives the main hook of this song its singular sound. The second beat drop is probably even harder than the first. Looped and modulated drum tracks were used as additional percussion elements in this song. Enjoy!

Ice On The Ocean

This one's epic. The track makes heavy use of guitar and has a memorable chord progression. The lead synth line is full of reverb and depth, letting the listener imagine they are drifting in a huge empty space. Listening to this song feels as if you're lying, back down, on a piece of ice that's slowly floating along in the Arctic sea, with the night sky full of stars above you. The second drop comes as a bit of a surprise, just a hint later than you'd expect. Enjoy!

Integrity and Promotion

This track has a nice pulsing build to it. It lulls and floats until it's time for the beat drop, weaving together manipulated violin and grainy synths. When the bass comes in it's bouncy, bassy, and swung. This one will definitely test the bass in your speakers when turned up. The second drop comes in harder than the first, almost forcing you to bounce to the beat, or at least bob your head at your laptop. Enjoy!
